My name is Bruce Jones and I am pleased to announce that I am running for a seat on the Groton Town Council this fall. I live on Flanders Road, and am currently on the RTM for the 7th district. I am a retired former small business owner of a graphic design firm, author and product developer. I am married with two grown daughters.
I have enjoyed being on the Groton RTM and getting to know and be involved in the Town of Groton and helping it move forward. I believe that communities work best when people are involved and contribute. I am on the SEC-TV board, heavily involved in Groton Open Space Association, you will see me out there cutting a lot grass and trimming trails. And on the RTM Parks and Rec committee. I am also on the Lasell University advisory board for the design department.
My interests are in conservation and open space, small business and economic growth, and retirement and senior issues.
Being retired has given me the time to be more involved and be part of the process. I am looking forward to running for Town Council and continuing my service and involvement in Groton. Hope to have your vote this fall.
