AGENDA: GDTC June 26, 2024 Meeting and May 24, 2024 Minutes

Wed. June 26, 2024, 7-8 pm, Thrive 55/Senior Center

1. Call to order.
2. Approval of minutes of May meeting. Doris Pulaski, Secy.
3. Treasurer’s Report. John Wirzbicki.
4. Report of Chair, Natalie Billing. RTM D1    Janice Kimball has offered to text a small list of DEMS. RTM D5: David Helme is interested in the vacancy. I’ve forwarded his name to clerk.

Rec’d call today from Andre Wagner, Sen Murphy’s Coord campaign. He’s walking in Willimantic July 4 parade.  Any volunteers?  Be there, 10 am.  Walk one hour 11-12. 1 mile.

5. -HQ: task for the next month. HELP! Need to find a HQ for Aug. 1 !!!
6. MAIN FOCUS of meeting tonight: final plans for Sundays picnic. Mary von Dorster.

• Andrew (Skip) Parrella has filed/announced, he’s candidate for State Senate, 18^th Running against Heather Somers. Will need donations, support. Please be prepared to make contributions.

7. PICNIC PLANS
8. State Reps, Report. Chris Conley cannot attend. Aundre Bumgardner will give report.
9. Nominating Committee Report. Liz Duarte/Bev Washington.  No applications for ABC’s.
10. Mayor/Council Update. Mayor Rachael Franco.
11. BOE update. Vice Chair, Beverly Washington.

Adjourn (Next Meeting:  July 24^th, 7 pm, Senior Center.   Andre Wagner of Senator Murphy’s Coordinated Campaign will attend to talk to us.!
