Groton Democrats have a new HQ and are gearing up for a successful fall election. So many important things will be decided by these mid-term elections. Issues like women’s rights, income inequality, and climate change may be won or lost by who we elect this November. From the top of our ticket—Richard Blumenthal, Ned Lamont, and Joe Courtney, to state-wide candidates Stephanie Thomas and Erick Russell, to our candidates for Groton representatives in Hartford—all these people will make decisions that affect your life, and your children and grandchildren’s. Crunch time is here!
As always, we are looking for volunteers to staff HQ, display lawn signs, make phone calls, write postcards, and write letters to the editor. Sign-up sheets will be posted at HQ.

Groton DTC Headquarters Open

Our Groton Democratic Headquarters is open for the fall campaign on 72 Plaza Court near the Groton Post Office.
We’ll be working to elect our State Representatives, Chris Conley and Aundré Bumgardner, and Democrat Farouk Rajab for State Senate as well as Governor Ned Lamont and Lt Governor Susan Bysiewicz.
Please come visit us, volunteer to help us staff HQ, and keep it open. Make a few phone calls for your favorite candidate. Go out and knock on some doors to spread the word about the importance of electing Democrats. Help us reach out to voters who need to vote absentee. Information on when headquarters will be open will be coming shortly. Look for us near the post office!
In August HQ is open Wednesday and Saturday morning, other times by chance
